BeeSafe

The app that offers security to citizens in a simple and effective way

BeeSafe is a start-up from Barcelona that was born out of the growing need to offer better security solutions for people in their homes. A new approach that shortens distances and makes communication and dialogue with the security forces immediate in situations of break-in or robbery.

Challenge

Identify problems in traditional security services and create a more functional system

The project begins with a service design phase in which we analyze the public and private products and services that currently exist to respond to the public in the face of increasing thefts and lack of security at home. Once the gaps of opportunity and the levers of differentiation were identified, we devised a new service with a double user in mind: the citizen and the local police force. Having identified the gaps of opportunity and the levers of differentiation, we devised a new service taking into account a double user: the citizen and the local police force.

Process

User-centered research, service, app and digital product design

During the digital product design process, we define the journeys of both user profiles and design a UX that allows us to solve all the security management problems present in existing products on the market. The result is a product that shortens distances and times between citizens, municipalities and security forces.

Results

An application with a usability and effectiveness that transform the concept of personal security

The user can add the household profiles they own and link as many members of the family unit as they want, in a quick and easy process. Using panic buttons, they can send notifications to the nearest security forces, as well as receive live notifications from the town hall or the police, or notification of incidents from their own relatives.
